Abstract (EN)
In this study, a decision support system for determining the production priorities has been developed for a bakery located in Turkey. The decision support system database combines cost, sales price, batch size, demand and other important daily data of the products. After combining these data, Fuzzy TOPSIS Method has been applied to determine the rankings of the bread types. Then, the ranking scores have been incorporated in the Knapsack Problem to determine the batch size, which orders to select. With the help of Ms Excel-Visual basic program the decision support system daily updates data, ranks the products, determines the batch size and helps the decision maker with the selection of the orders.
