Examination of some personel differences with individual decision making periods

People whether in their private lives or in their professional lives, encounter decision making situations throughout their lives. There may be a problem at a very simple level as well as there may be very complex problems involving many factors. Decision making involves activities such as following results by evaluating possibilities and options. For solution a right approach, the subject requires decision making necessitates to be defined properly.Generally decision making can be defined as a process of preferring one of the possible options. Variables such as intuition of a person, his situation of dependency, family structure, peer pressure, his intelligence, prejudices, emotions, motivation state, stresses, personality characteristics and problem solving skills affect decision making period. By dealing skills of decision making of teenagers and adults closely, researchers make measuring studies to identify their ability level of decision making.Especially decision making abilities in adolescence period is critically important in terms of personality developments of adolescents. Since the adolescents having high abilities in effective decision making, do not experience difficulty in forming a healthy personality; the ones having low abilities can be observed to be in depression about what to do about their identities and roles at the end of adolescence period.Decision making periods of adolescents also show variability according to personal differences. Each individual experinces and results this decision making period according to his own personal characteristics. When we consider related literature, in decision making periods of adolescents using the time well, taking support willingly, self-fulfilment, self-respect and similar characteristics play an important role in this period of adolescents. In this research, the relations between personal decision making periods in adolescents and some personal differences, will be examined.
