Amasya People's House as a public educational institution

People Houses are founded in order to integrate republican principles and revolutions of Atatürk with community by ensuring national cognition in the Republican Era. These institutions became the most important cultural institutions of the Turkish Republic.People Houses which are initially opened on February 19, 1932 in 14 provinces, spread rapidly and reached the number of 478 People's Houses and 4322 Community Centres, fulfilled a very important function in the country's cultural development and bringing values of the Republic to broad masses of the people. Amasya Community centre is founded on february 23,1934Work consists of five sections. The first section is consisted, the state of the problem, purpose and importance of research, problem sentence and sub-problems. The second part examined the publications and research, research method is discussed in chapter three. The fourth chapter consists of the findings about the answers of the sub-problems and the comments about these findings. Lastly in the fifth section, the overall evaluation of results are given.Keywords: The People?s House, Community Rooms, Amasya
