Abstract (EN)
In this dissertation, it is aimed to put the audience in place of the the character through the subjective camera use. Certain scenes of the film were shot from the protagonist's point of view with an aim to place the audience at the heart of the storyline. The mood, feelings, thoughts, and also the memories of the protagonist are told from her standpoint. The study is supported with the concept of alienation and analyzed in psychological and social terms. In this context, the short film, "A Missing Person", is analyzed on the basis of the alienation concept and included in the study. In this film, we are watching the feelings of a woman in an isolated and restricted area after her return to his family's house in a town after many years.
