Security as an urban right and the MOBESE application

Security is the main requirement of humanity in all ages. As a negative effect of urbanization processes and immigration, security problems occur in urban areas. The main topic which threatens social sustainability and destroys quality of modern life, is the problem of urban security that needs to focus on importance.In this thessis, urban right, urban security and MOBESE aplication, which is the important tool to struggle with crime for urban security, are evaluated together. It can be claimed that urban security is a prior need in humanlife and also it is an urban right. At this point, we handle mental transformation in accordance with the philosophy of providing public services in urban security adminstration.The use of technology to provide urban security is the necessity of contemporary security services. ?Mobile Electronic System Integration? is the one of security technologies is used by police as a part of struggling against crime. For the success of these systems, use of advanced technological equipment, legal regulation that respects ethical values and strategic management have to be developed together.In this thesis, security camera systems more evaluated in this perpective, devolopment of system in the worldwide and Turkey is explained and the system?s operating process is analyzed. Perceptions of adminstrations about the future of system is evaluated with interview in İzmir ?Urban Safety Management System?.
