Abstract (EN)
In this thesis, Zeki Velidi Togan's process of personal and intellectual development, the way his ideas about history and civilization arouse and the ideas' themselves are explained with respect to his family, education, voyages, political and academic activities, personal library and the people he met. The main source of this thesis is his own works, primarily his Memoirs.
