Abstract (EN)

Sifâ bint Abdullah was born in Mecca. Her date of birth isn't known. Her original name was Leyla. She belonged a branch of the tribe of Quraysh Adiyy. Her identity disk was Ummu Solomon b. Ebi Hasme. She was a relative of Hz. 'Umar. She had two boys and a girl. She was from the first Muslims and was among the first group that migrated to Medina. She was literate and even she was literate at the period of ignorance. The school Suffe's first female teacher Hz. Sifâ taught how to read and write to Hz. Hafza. Hz. Sifâ was a doctor. She was known especially for treating namla (skin disease). At the some time, she had knowledge about trade. She was a woman who trade information. She was appointed as a city police. Hz. Sifâ passed away in Medina. The date of her death is uncertain but there are various information that the date is to be between hijri 20 and 30 years. Her grove is in the tomb of Cennet?ul Bakî in Medina.
