Employee evaluation of occupational health and safety standards in an engine factory

It can be examined under the name of Occupational Health and Safety as a scientific branch that investigates the studies carried out in order to improve the working environment conditions by thinking of the health of the employees, thus ensuring their social, cognitive and physical health. The main purpose of occupational health and safety is to ensure that the employee can spend his life in the healthiest way possible. In line with this request, it is to regulate the authority, obligations and duties of the employee and employer in order to develop and improve existing conditions by creating hazardous and healthy conditions in the workplace. The precautions taken for chemical, biological, environmental and ergonomic threats that may occur will reduce the risks related to diseases, on the one hand, and will provide economic benefits by increasing efficiency. The aim of this research is to determine the level of employees working in an engine plant in an automotive sector in terms of compliance with the principles of occupational health and safety. It is known that the automotive industry creates a great employment in our country. When the sector is examined in terms of occupational health and safety, the fact that occupational accidents resulting in death are common in the automotive industry is encountered. For this reason, it is among the indisputable issues that more attention should be given to the applications related to occupational health and safety in the automotive industry.
