As a sample of submission Prophet Abraham in Quran

In this study, it is emphasized that despite the trials Prophet Ibrahim faced, he did not compromise his submission, and it is highlighted that Muslims should also live in this context. In this study, general explanations are provided about submission and Prophet Ibrahim. In today's conditions, the act of surrendering to Allah is gradually decreasing, and there is an increase in mindsets that fulfill one aspect of religion while disregarding or neglecting another aspect. It has become extremely important for people to follow in the footsteps of the exemplary prophets as role models. Prophet Ibrahim is one of the prophets who ignored the false beliefs of his people and surrendered only to Allah and His decrees. According to what is expressed in the Qur'an, Prophet Ibrahim, who is the most beautiful example, serves as an example to people with many qualities. Therefore, his life and some of his characteristics have been examined in this study. In examining the topics and verses covered in the study, classical and modern period exegesis sources, as well as hadith sources, have been consulted. We have tried to provide the meanings of some concepts in these topics from the works of Ragıb el-İsfahânî (d. 343/954) titled "Al-Mufradat" and Ibn Manzur (d. 711/1311) titled "Lisān al-ʿArab". Afterwards, we identified the verses related to Prophet Ibrahim and discussed how they were interpreted in exegesis sources. We also included hadiths and the opinions of commentators on the subject.
