Abstract (EN)

Tezkiretü?l-Evliya was written by Feridüddin Attâr, one of the most important poets, in 617 (Hijri year). The topics of the work are the lives of great saints, their behaviours, thoughts, words and wonders. It has been translated intoAnatolian Turkish many times as it deals with religious topics. That there are many translations in national and international libraries means that it attracted the interest of Turkish people. However, many of the translators of the work before Sinan Pasha are not known. The translation that was examined in this study is also anonymous.The study that was carried out on the manuscript registered in Kayseri Râşid Efendi Library with the number 27317 consists of introduction, spelling properties, phonology, morphology, text, dictionary and index of proper nouns. In the introduction, some information about work, writer and other studies was given. In the second chapter, the spelling properties of the work are revealed through examples. In the phonology chapter, the phonologic properties of vowel and consonants are clarified. The affixes are classifed and presented with samples from the text in the morphology. In the following chapters the transcribed text, the dictionary involving sample sentences and the index of proper nouns are given.Key words: Tezkiretü?l-Evliya, Feridüddin Attâr, Old Anatolian Turkish, Translation.
