Abstract (EN)

Industry 4.0 has brought with it radical changes in transportation systems. The ability of objects to communicate with each other has made carrying the newly developed direction-finding systems components faster and more independent from humans than ever before. Human-independent transport systems are much safer than conventional systems and simplified the laborious and difficult to control structure used for the transfer of materials within the facility. Automated Guided Vehicles (AGVs) are unmanned transports that use a variety of navigation and control systems to automatically move along predetermined paths. Well-designed AGV systems will prevent damage to the product quality due to transportation, will provide a safe working environment for employees and will provide a long-term profit to the business. The aim of this study is to determine the AGV type and fleet size while ensuring occupational health and safety for the enterprise. To find this out, first, the type of AGV suitable for the needs of the enterprise was determined, and then the existing system and alternative systems were simulated to calculate how many AGVs of this type are needed. The system was tested with the experimental design method under different conditions and the most optimal result was achieved are examined, best alternative selected. the most suitable AGV type for the operation is Fork type AGV and these type of AGVs can carry more than one load at the same time. In order for the system to work optimally, the need for 3 AGVs has been determined, and each AGV must carry 3 pallets of products at a time. The fleet size cannot be increased further because in the feasibility study, the company must pay off itself in a maximum of 2 years to make the investment.
