In the case of repeating traffic rules violations, and due to the diversity of those violations, it would be possible to recommend the driver to take the general driving education once again. In the present study, we have applied the web based long distance education to 366 trainee by the web site www.e-surucu.com which has been constructed by object oriented programming technology. In the beginning of the education, the drivers who have included in an accident take an assessment test which is prepared with respect to the kind of the mistake committed by the driver. Then, the drivers are educated in the light of the assessment. At the end of the education, a second test is applied. We have observed in our study that while the rate of success in the first test was 16,46, after our web based long distance education module the rate of succes for the last test is increased to 30,02. The reason for nearly 50% difference between the rates is considered to be related to the education module itself.
