Abstract (EN)

Today's living conditions and working conditions have made some situations more important for both businesses and employees. In an increasingly competitive environment, the harmony of the individual with the job, the satisfaction of the employer and the employee from the job have a great effect on production. Individual and job harmony have an important role in protecting employment and increasing the success of the employee. The literature part of the thesis was created and examined in detail by examining the studies on the three main headings of the research, person-job fit, job satisfaction and self-efficacy. In the application part, in order to determine the mediating role of self-efficacy in the effect of person-job fit on job satisfaction, quantitative research methods were selected and a questionnaire, which was a data collection tool, was applied to 405 employees. 79.5% of the respondents were male and 20.4% were female. 50% of the participants are married. The rate of participants working in permanent status was determined as 72%. In the conclusion of the research data, the main hypothesis that "self-efficacy has a mediating role in the effect of person-job fit on job satisfaction" has been confirmed. It is thought that the findings obtained in the study will contribute to new studies. Keywords: Person-job fit, Job satisfaction, Self-efficacy, Mediating role, Influence
