Abstract (EN)

This research is aimed to explain the effect of person-organization fit on work alienation. The research further is aimed to see how social support moderates in the relationship between person-organization fit and work alienation. Quantitative cross-sectional research was applied and the survey method was used in the data collection. Survey questions were delivered to the participants via e-mail and online applications. (LinkedIn, Whatsapp, Facebook). The research sample has consisted of 397 respondents who work actively in the tourism sector in Turkey. In this research model, Resick, Baltes, & Shantz's (2007) 5-statement person-organization fit scale, Tekin's (2012) 24-statement work alienation scale, and Özel's (2015) 8-statement social support scale was used to examine the relationships. All scales were previously measured on the pilot group and scale permissions were taken by scale developers. Compilation of data and hypotheses analyzes were done on SPSS 26.0 program. In the moderator impact analysis, two moderators analyze programs that were used which are, SPSS 26.0 and SPSS Process programs. As a result of the analysis, it was found out that social support was a moderator in the relationship between person-organization fit and work alienation.
