ABSTRACT EXAMINING THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN E-HEALTH LITERACY LEVELS AND E-NABIZ USAGE STATUS OF INDIVIDUALS Dr. Veli Alperen YILMAZ Dokuz Eylül University, Faculty of Medicine the Department of Family Practice Supervisor: Prof. Dr. Azize Dilek Güldal Aim: In today's world, where every aspect of life has evolved on the internet, the internet is the most widely used source for obtaining information on any subject and is frequently used by individuals in their health information seeking behaviors. This reason brings us to the concept of e-health literacy. The aim of the study is to examine the relationship between individuals' e-health literacy levels and their e-Nabız usage status. Method: Our cross-sectional analytical study was conducted with 400 participants aged 18-49 years who applied to Education Family Health Centers affiliated to Dokuz Eylül University Department of Family Medicine. The questionnaire forms used in the study were obtained by reviewing the literature, including the sociodemographic characteristics of the participants and a 29-question data recording form questioning the e-Nabız usage status of the individuals and the E-Health Literacy Scale. SPSS 24.0 package program was used for statistical analysis. A value of p<0.05 was considered significant in the analyses. Findings: Of the 400 participants, 70.2% (s=281) were female and 29.8% (s=119) were male. The mean age of the participants was 32.67±7.26 years. The mean score of the e-health literacy scale of the participants was calculated as 29.82±5.37. The e-health literacy levels of the participants who stated that they used the E-Nabız system on their own were found to be higher than the other groups, and this difference between the groups was found to be statistically significant as a result of the Anova analysis (p<0.01). As a result of Levene's test, the variances were found equal (p=0.461) and according to the LSD test for post hoc analysis, it was found that this difference between the groups was caused by the participants who answered "I use the e-Nabız system on my own" (p<0.01 and p<0.001, respectively). Results: As a result of our research, a statistically significant relationship was found between individuals' e-health literacy levels and their e-Nabız usage status. According to this relationship, it was observed that individuals with high e-health literacy use the e-Nabız system and its functions more. In order for citizens to benefit from the e-Nabız system more effectively, e-health literacy levels should be increased. Keywords: Family Medicine, E-Health Literacy, E-Nabız
