Abstract (EN)

Today, digital transformation in healthcare plays an important role in individuals' health-related decision-making processes. Consumer health informatics is a concept that reflects the potential of health technologies to facilitate individuals' access to healthcare. In this regard, the study aimed to measure the relationship between the personality traits of Generation Z individuals and consumer health informatics in today's conditions where technology changes and develops rapidly. In this direction, SPSS 21.00 and AMOS 24.00 statistical programs were used in the analysis of the study conducted on 473 individuals born between 1998-2004 residing in Erzincan. Through these programs, normality analysis, analysis of demographic data, validity and reliability analysis, CFA (Confirmatory Factor Analysis), descriptive statistical analysis, correlation analysis, YEM (Structural Equation Model/Path Analysis) and comparison analysis according to demographic data were performed. As a result of the research, it has been determined that the extroversion, agreeableness, responsibility and openness levels of Generation Z consumers positively and statistically significant affect the levels of consumer health informatics. On the other hand, the negative relationship between emotionality and consumer health informatics was not found to be significant.
