Abstract (EN)

This research was conducted to show the relationship between personality traits and career choices towards the public sector. As a career plan, the public sector orientation of individuals participating in pedagogical formation training in order to work in the public sector has been examined in the context of five factor personality traits and different demographic variables. Personality traits have the feature of influencing career preferences. 325 teacher candidates trained in pedagogical formation at Gebze Technical University participated in the research. Participants' demographics and questionnaires with five factor personality scale were applied. The questionnaires were analyzed in detail and the results and recommendations were prepared.
