The effects of mergers and acquisitions on the company's performance: Analysis on a manufacturer company in Turkey

Today with the help of globalization activities, data share, faster communication and developing technologies; boundaries of the world has disappeared. Before many companies working on the same field, have established business partnerships and started to act together in the various fields of business. Merges and Acquisitions between the companies present in the same business field, have become more common in the international business administration. Companies use technological developments, management skills and sources in order to take advantage more efficiently of the world market against increasing competition conditions. Today companies ,in the direction of market conditions, use mergers and aquisitions activities in order to reach superior structure, evaluate advantegous situations and develop power unions. In the first part of the study; globalization, company merges and aquisitions, in the second part organizational performance, in the third and final part mergers and aquisitions activities effects on a company currently producing and manufacturing in Turkey are evaluated with this company's datas.
