MIC values of 63 herbal products (Artichoke, ß-1,3-D-glucan, Black cohosh, Chitosan, Devil?s claw, Echinacea, Feverfew, Cranberry, Garlic, Ginkgo biloba, Ginseng, Glucosamin sulphate, Grape seed, Hawthorn Berry, Horse chestnut, Milk thistle, Pomegranate hull, Saw palmetto, Soy isoflavones, Spirulina, St.John?s Worth, Tribulus, Valerian, Flexamine, Pomegranate complex, Echinacea, Cinnamon, Ginseng, Cat?s claw, Rutin, Bilberry-Ginkgo, Chlorella, Green tea, Dong quai, Advanced acidophilus, Black cohosh, Advanced antioxidant, Astragalus, Chromium picolinate, St.John?s Worth, All in one, ß-1,3 glucan, Milk Thistle, Quercetin complex, Bilberry, Green tea complex, Milk thistle plus, Grape seed, Pomegranate, Valerian root, Psyllium seed husk, Senna, St.John?s Worth, Odorless triple garlic, Saw Palmetto, Gotu kola, Milk thistle,Ginseng gold, Gymnema silvestre, Apple cider vinegar, Echinecea root , Ginkgo biloba plus ve Echinacea) for using supplementary treatment which belogs to A, B, C firms were tested against Gram-positive bacteria (S. aureus, B. subtilis, E. faecalis, B. cereus, S. epidermidis, S. griseus, S. pyogenes), Gram-negative bacteria (E. coli, P. aeruginosa, K. pneumoniae, P. mirabilis, A. baumanii, P. vulgaris, E. aerogenes, S. typhimirium, S. dysanteriae, S. enteriditis, V. cholerae ojawa) and yeast-mold (C. albicans, C. parapsilosis) with microdilution method.The antimicrobial effects of these products are not found as remarkable as the effect of Ampicillin, Ofloxacine, Gentamicine, Fluconazole and Amphotericine B which used for control groups. MIC values of these products were found between ?512 µg/ml-64 µg/ml.As a result of microbiological analyses of mentioned 63 products, total aerob bacteria and yeast-mould amount were calculated >101 cfu/ml for only 4 products.None of these products observed belonging to S. aureus, P. aeruginosa and Enterobacteriaceae family microorganisms.Key words: Herbal Products, Antibacterial activity, Microbial contamination
