Biodiesel technology

During last years traditional energy resources is expected to decrease and especially petroliumresources will be exhausted in near future. Overpopulation and industrializm gets through theworld big consumption. As a result, to get new and emergence prevents become neccessary.Main prevents are to find new and renewable resources and to use known resourcesefficiently. Among the new and renewable resources biomass has the important role inrecently.Being most of the consumption of petrolium implies engine fuels in our country, using dieselengines in transportation and agriculture, increases the consumption of diesel fuels.Ourcountry does not have enough resourches to get the consumption so it becomes important toproduce fuels from renewable resourches. The leading alternative fuel type rival to diesel isBiodiesel.In the first chapter of this thesis ; the situation of energy in all over the world and in Turkeyand biomass is explained.
