Project management methodology of bi̇ologi̇cal sewage treatment plant projects

Water is an important element that ensures continuity and protection of living and natural balance. From day to day current clean water resources decrease due to consumption of water Hence, water pollution increases and capability of water usage decreases. Accordingly, this situation requires to recycle effluent water. Sewage treatment plants ensure recycling of effluent water by disinfecting it without harming health of others. The first chapter of this study, functions of sewage treatment plants and manufacturing methodswere mentioned. And then, typical quadric biological sewage treatment plant was analyzed by using project management methods. Subsequently, important processes and work activities were indicated according to time and cost. Primarily, actual performance values at prototype construction site were obtained daily. Work breakdown structure (WBS) was established. Cost and performance of WBS values were matched with old records. Thus, schedule of sewage treatment plant construction project, was established according to WBS values defined. Consequently, It was tried to facilitate the work of proffesionals who would construct sewage treatment plants by through acted work program determining total times, quantities, costs, and level of significance of each used resource for the construction of sewage treatment plant.
