Abstract (EN)
In this study, NO3?, NO2?, BrO3?, Br?, F?, Cl?, SO42?, PO43? ions in biological fluids such as serum, saliva and urine were determined by ion chromatography. In addition, NO2? and PO43? ions were determined by spectrophotometric method. Biological fluids used in the study were obtained from 30 patients diagnosed with type 2 diabetes and the control group of 30 people. The results obtained from the studies of the changes in the samples of the patients and control group were evaluated statistically. Statistical studies were performed using the SPSS 15.0 program.Concentrations of the NO3?, NO2?, BrO3?, Br?, F?, SO42?, PO43? anions in serum samples belonging to the patient groups were higher than the control groups, in constrast, concentrations of Cl? anion of control groups were higher than the patient groups. However, it was seen that, Br-, PO43? and SO42? anions concentrations in the serum of the patient group were higher than the control group as statistically significant (p<0.05) Concentrations of the NO3?, NO2?, BrO3?, Br?, F? anions in urine samples belonging to the patient groups were higher than the control groups, whereas, concentrations of Cl?, SO42?, PO43? anions of control groups were higher than the patient groups. NO3? anion concentrations in the patient urine samples were found higher than the control group as statistically significant, while, Cl?, SO42?, PO43? anion concentrations in the control group?s urine samples were found higher than the patient group as statistically significant. Concentrations of the NO3?, NO2?, BrO3?, Br? anions in urine samples belonging to the patient groups were higher than the control groups, whereas, concentrations of F?, Cl?, SO42?, PO43? anions of control groups were higher than the patient groups as statistically significant. According to the results of the spectrophotometric studies, levels of the NO2? anion in serum, urine and saliva samples group of patients were higher than in the control groups, levels of the PO43? anion of control groups were higher than the patient groups. Concentrations of the PO43? anion in saliva and urine samples belonging to the control group were found higher than the patient group as statistically significant. These anions, especially NO3?, NO2?, BrO3?, Br?, F? anions in the serum of patients with Type 2 diabetes would be useful to assume that should be followed.
