Abstract (EN)
The application of biometric features, which are unique to all individuals, to e-passports and passport control at the border gates, is studied in this thesis. After having the literature on biometric features and their fields of application reviewed, a model is proposed based on the international standards. In this proposed model, the application of a developed method on the use of biometric data (fingerprint, iris and face image) on manuel passport control and automated border pass systems, is discussed.Key Words: Biometric Data, Passport, Automated Pass, Fingerprint, Iris,
