Biopolitic analysis: State, security and the future of Syrian refugees

As the warfare and chaos in which Syria is in stil-continuing, the attitude of Turkey to Syrians as a guest immediately afterwards, give its place to political and social precautions in time. Despite the fact that the Turkish State fallow the open-door policy in a humanistic manner, it is looked for alternative options to integration of Syrians in years, in this thesis study, first of alli the arrival of Syrians and their general situation in Turkey is told. In continuation, the affect of Syrians to Turkey is evaluated in the context of social, economic, political, security and the basic services. Moreover; the number of registered Syrians in Turkey is searched from the official data. Their legal status, rights and obligations in teorics and implementation are mentioned. The Syrian Refugee Politics of The State of the Republic of Turkey is studied through the national and international legislation and the Biopolitic concept of Michel FOUCAULT. In the final section of the thesis, by analyzing the problems of Syrian Refugees encountered and their critiques to the Government, the affect of Syrians on Turkey is mentioned and it is emphasized that by protecting the current national balance it is an obligation to put a short and long term micro and macro Syrian politic in practice.
