Abstract (EN)

This thesis deals with the domination problem towards to artificial intelligence; it aims to explain this with the concepts of bio-politics and governmentality. The argument of this thesis is based on the assumption that artificial intelligence will not cause to domination. Today, artificial intelligence technologies are becoming increasingly popular and turns into a political tool with its use in various fields of life. The thing that makes it political is ability to change the direction of power-subject relationship and also by providing various possibilities. In this context, West-centered approach and rational way of thinking were adopted to explain these changes from the examples in Western societies, how life is gradually taking shape with this technology is discussed. Although most of the studies carried out on artificial intelligence to date have addressed possible results in terms of ethics and technical; such approaches have failed to explain the conditions in which this technology is embedded in the political axis. However, life is increasingly trapped within the boundaries of the political and subject-power relations with understanding of government are constantly being reshaped. Keywords: Bio-politics, governmentality, control, domination, subject, power, artificial intelligence
