Abstract (EN)
In the world of informatics, many techniques have been developed for the production, management, use and processing of meaningful information in the field of information and information sciences. These techniques are used as data sets with database systems. Ontology engineering is a data science that presents these data sets in a meaningful form within certain knowledge management disciplines. Ontologies are database methods that hold a set of terms that structurally define the concepts, objects and relationships of the subject or field needed. Among the ontology-based systems developed in previous studies, the ontology tasks defined by the system requirements defined within the framework of the Information Map Research and Development Project (IMRDP) were analyzed. As a solution to the problems encountered in the tasks, blockchain technology, one of the new and current technologies, was investigated. As a result of the research, the solution effects on the tasks were academically transferred in the exploratory research technique. Including features such as decentralized structure, distributed ledger technology, end-to-end communication, consensus algorithms, immutability and data traceability offered by blockchain technologies in ontology maintenance tasks provides solutions to the needed requirements. As a result of this study, ontologies developed in blockchain technologies support maintenance tasks and ensure the sustainability of ontology-based systems.
