Abstract (EN)

This study was carried out to determine the cardiovascular risk conditions by examining the nutritional habits, nutritional consumption, anthropometric measurements and biochemical parameters of kidney transplant patients; It was performed on 107 volunteers, 18 years of age and over, GFR> 30 ml / min / 1.73m2 followed by Bursa Uludağ University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Internal Medicine, Department of Nephrology. The risk of cardiovascular death of patients was calculated using the SCORE risk model. The number in the model was divided into 3 groups as <1% low risk, 1-4% medium risk, 5-9% high risk. All participants were interviewed face-to-face and three sections of the questionnaire consisting of 26 questions and a 24-hour food consumption form were filled. Weight, height and waist measurements were taken and urea, creatinine, GFH (MDRD), lipid profile, albumin and fasting blood sugar were recorded. In the study, GFR mean was 67,0±20,0 ml/min/1,73m2. According to the SCORE model, 30,8% are low risk, 32,7% are medium risk and 36,5% are high risk categories. According to the BMI classification, 43,5% of women and 21,8% of men were obese (BMI> 30 kg / m2). The ratio of energy from fat was found to be high in both genders. It was found that 38,4% of the energy in all participants came from dietary fat. The SCORE mean score of women was 3,1 ± 3.2, and men were 2,5 ± 2,5. There was a positive correlation between SCORE risk score and fasting blood glucose and SBP values, a negative and statistically significant correlation between GFR (p<0,05). Obesity is both an independent risk factor for cardiovascular diseases and is closely related to cardiovascular risk factors such as dyslipidemia, hypertension, and type 2 DM. To prevent obesity means to prevent the emergence of many diseases. Appropriate nutritional therapy and recommendations to be given to patients before transplantation will reduce the risk of obesity and obesity-related cardiovascular.
