A research on the application of regional development agencies

The main purpose of this study is to examine the practices of development agencies. In light of this basic purpose is to examine the regional development agencies in Turkey and Japan practice and investigate activities that have made these agencies. On the other hand, to put forward the opinions of the senior institution superiors working in the province of Düzce about the practices of the development agencies. Interview technique, which is one of the qualitative research methods, was applied. The data of the study were obtained from the senior level superiors working in Düzce province by using interview technique. In this context, interviews were held with ten senior institutions. As a result of the study, the implementation of development agencies in practice and practice is different, It was determined that the development agencies mostly focused on economy-oriented studies. However, it has been determined that regional development agencies should be able to employ qualified personnel and to prepare a system for easy access to scientific data.
