Abstract (EN)
In addition to long-term intensive and system training for transportation in sports; According to the above-mentioned psychomotor development processes of children according to their higher-level preparation. The examination of male and female athletes working in the league in this training consists of materials that are free from models and technical features in education and to educate these features about sports training on the ground. In the 2020-2021 season, measurements were applied to a total of 40 athletes consisting of Rize Municipality Youth and Sports women's team (20) and Çaykur Rizespor men's team (20) players in the Turkish regional league. The measurements of the athletes were made in the halls where the teams train on weekdays. Measurement values were written for each subject on pre-prepared forms. To determine some physical characteristics of basketball players; height, body weight, body fat percentage measurements were applied. Widely used in determining the psychomotor characteristics of basketball players; 20 meters running, Hand claw strength, Back strength, Leg Strength, Vertical Jump, Standing Long Jump, Sit and Reach Flexibility, T test, Hand Reaction Speed and Foot Reaction Speed skill tests were applied. In determining the technical skills of basketball players; Dribbling tests were applied. Office 365 Pro Plus Microsoft Office package program was used in writing the thesis. Statistical tests were performed in SPSS and JASP statistical packages for Windows. Primarily, Kolmogorov-Smirnov (K-S) and Shapiro-Wilk normality tests were applied to the data obtained from the measurements. T-test was applied to the data with normality distribution for two independent groups at a = 0.05 significance level in pairwise comparisons, and Mann-Whitney-U test was applied to the data without normal distribution. Test results; showed that the differences between the height, body weight and body fat percentage measurements of the athletes playing in the regional basketball league were significant (p<0.05). It showed that the differences between basketball players' 20 meters running, Hand Claw Strength, Back Strength, Leg Strength, Vertical Jump, Standing Long Jump, Sit Reach Flexibility, T test, Hand Reaction Speed and Foot Reaction Speed skill tests were significant (p<0.05). It was seen that the differences between the basketball players' dribbling tests were also significant (p<0.05). According to this situation, it is seen that suitable male athletes are better than female athletes in tests with strength and ease, while female athletes are better than male athletes in dominant and non-dominant reaction tests. It is seen that male athletes are better than female athletes in the dribbling technical skill test, while female athletes are better than male athletes in the 20-meter sprint test. These female athletes should be higher level athletes than male students.
