A socio-cultural analysis of the social lives of Circassians in Elmalık Village of Bolu

Circassians immigrated to Turkey after their exile and tried to maintain their existence by settling in different parts of the country. Within the scope of the study, it is aimed to obtain detailed information about the Circassians living in the Elmalık village of Bolu province, and to obtain detailed information about the Circassians in this region, and to make general evaluations about the Circassians based on the Circassians in this region. The main aim is to obtain first-hand information about the socio-cultural life of the Circassians. In this direction, theoretical information about the history of Circassians in the Caucasus, the great exile process, their settlement in the lands of the Ottoman Empire after the exile, the Circassians in the Elmalık village of Bolu province and their current lives are included in the study. Afterwards, the data obtained as a result of the fieldwork were processed and analyzed in the SPSS 22.0 program, and the study was completed by making evaluations in line with the first-hand data on the socio-cultural life of the Circassians in Elmalık Village of Bolu province.
