Abstract (EN)

This scheme calculates the available heating and cooling energy for a selected building in Erzincan province using the Degree Day and traditional Degree Day methods, divided into two time periods: 12:00–14:00 and 14:00–16:00. The heating energy consumption calculated by the traditional DG and bDG methods is compared with the actual heating energy consumption data of the existing building. Specifically, the 15°C reference temperature-based pricing and the 12:00–14:00 bIDG scheduling results are more similar to the actual energy consumption. The 15°C reference temperature-based pricing and the 12:00–14:00 bIDG scheduling results in 2.47% less annual heating energy than the traditional DG method. This result demonstrates that bIDG can significantly increase the lifespan of heating energy in the country by providing energy savings.
