Abstract (EN)
In this study, the samples containing with 5, 10 and 15 vol. % Ti were produced from the reaction between boron carbide and titanium with 100°C/min heating rates by spark plasma sintering method. The density, hardness, and fracture toughness of the samples were measured. The phases and microstructures of the composites were observed by using X-Ray Diffraction (XRD) and Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM) analysis.
