Highway around Bornova section have big traffic problems to travel. In this project, geological-geotechnical investigations of the Bornova section 1-3, 1-4, Zaffer Payzın IIaduct-Ege University IIaduct, Great Sewage-disposel Project have been carried out, and geotechnical mapping of the section 1-3 and 1-4 have been done to solve some problems, to lead foundation problems, as a result Soil and Rock index-engineering properties of the Bornova section of the Izmir Ring Road have been investigated. According to data obtained from In-situ and laboratory test, It is determined that Quaternary sediments have low strength. Using geological and geotechnical data, foundations conditions have been examined. First of all, 1:5000 scale Documentation Map which data taken from the motorway, metro, ring road, Great sewage disposal have been done, then Engineering Geological Mapping objected to give three dimensional Hew.
