Local cuisine as a leisure experience: Example of the province of Bursa

In this study, it was investigated that the local people living in Bursa How much did they prefer food which is specific to Bursa in their spare time and how much they know these dishes? In the collection of research data, the questionaire "Kitchen preference and local food in leisure time" was used 2019 by developed GOK. The main lines of the research are the local people living in Bursa Province. According to sample calculation, the survey was deemed appropriate to be conducted with 384 people ( 0.05 margin of error), However in order to minimize the margin of error a study was conducted on 560 questionaires. As a result of research, local people do not consider eating otside of home as a leisre activity but it was observed that they tasted and knew the generally known dishes such as İskender Kebap, İnegöl meatball and Meatball with Pita which is belongs The province of Bursa, but it was concluded that they have less taste and knowledge of more specific local dishes. In the study it was ensured that the participants ound local food delicious of Bursa,also in this study it was concluded that they prefer local food in tehir spare time.
