Abstract (EN)
This study is prepared, under five main headings, as a general analysis of whole poets contained in the Dîvân of Bosnian Aleaddin Sâbit who lived in second half of XVII century and in the early XVIII century. Although many studies, most of them being the articles, have been made with reference to the poems of Sâbit, who caught researchers attention due to his Bosnian origin and his hallmarks, and has been considered as one of the substantial poets of his era, existence of a general analysis study has not been detected. In this study, through reviewing all of the poets contained in Sâbit's Divan, we have identified the era he lived in and the believing of the society, feelings, thoughts, nature, âşık-beloved-rival types and other personalities, developments in social and political life, art and sport activities, illnesses and therapies, food and beverages, currency in force, trade life, transport, furniture used, communication, rezm and bezm (rivalry and festivity), behaviour types, custom, tradition and believing, constructional elements etc., and we discussed other elements concerning various issues. This study, having introduced by this kind of review of Sâbit's Dîvân, has significance in terms of reflecting the religious, sufistic, social, cultural and many other characteristics of the era as well as the information regarding his personality and private life, it is also important in the sense that it will make contribution to the studies to be made involving to both the field and different disciplines, mainly the history and folklore.
