Abstract (EN)

In this study, Capoeta damascina (Valenciennes, 1842), Capoeta caelestis (Freyhof, 2009), Capoeta capoeta (Güldenstädt, 1773) and Capoeta umbla (Heckel, 1843) species living in Botan Stream, some biochemical parameters (ALT, AST, ALP, LDH, glucose), vitamins D, Ca, P, K, Cl, Na) were studied in a total of 24 fish by taking six samples from each species. Samples were collected in October 2018. As a result of this study, there was no significant difference in serum ALT, AST, LDH enzyme activities and serum Ca, Cl, glucose, Na, P and vitamin D levels in four different species of capoeta genus. On the other hand, when ALP enzyme activity was evaluated, Capoeta damascina and Capoeta capoeta (p <0.001), Capoeta damascina and Capoeta caelestis (p <0.05), Capoeta damascina and Capoeta umbla were statistically significant (p <0.05) and serum serum K level in terms of Capoeta capoeta and Capoeta umbla species. According to the results of the biochemical parameters of the fish samples examined, it is understood that the fish species are under stressful. Glucose and AST values were found to be within normal limits. However, serum ALT, LDH and ALP enzyme activities were found to be high enough to suggest that the fish species were under stress. As a result of the study, it was determined that four different species of Capoeta genus could be affected by environmental and seasonal factors at different rates. However, it is thought that ALT, LDH, ALP and K parameters could be used as indicators of environmental and monitoring of fish species growth. Furthermore, the results of the study suggest that future studies may be of reference value.
