Özet (EN)
The basic aim of this study, which evaluates blended learning environments from the eyes of instructors, is to probe the opinions of BÖTE instructors about courses given in blended learning environments and to reveal benefits, limitedness and application of blended learning and why blended learning is not used in more course. In line with the aim of this study, 20 instructors, who work in BÖTE from 8 universities in total in the provinces of Ankara and İstanbul, were interviewed. Semi-structured interview questions are posed to instructors with who were interviewed in the framework of the aim of thesis. Interview questions were given to 5 field experts and feedbacks were received; interview questions were finalized in line with these feedbacks. Interviews were recorded with a tape recorder and resolved later. The Research was performed in the scope of case study pattern that is one of qualitative methods of research. Content analysis method was used in interpreting the data obtained. Hereunder, contents were analyzed one by one and given answers were classified into main and sub-categories. Frequency and percentage distribution of each category were obtained. In the consequence of this analysis; opinions of instructors on blended learning environments were reviewed under nine different extents such as; communication extent, technology use extent, complexity of teaching extent, instruments extent, institutional support extent, reasons of nıt using the learning environment extent, giving course again in the future extent, giving advice to other instructors in giving course extent and benefits of blended course.Consequentially, participants stated that they form interactions in different ways in blended learning environments, active learning is realized better, active teaching opportunity is provided better, self-access learning opportunity could be given to students, it is more easier to reach to information by increasing resources, motivation of students is increasing more, peer teaching and learning could be provided and it is more easier to follow-up and evaluate students. But, results shows that the reasons of blended learning environments could not become widespread up to the mark and are not used more effectively are as follows; instructors do not have comprehensive knowledge of last technologies and they are biased to those kinds of learning environments, they do not have sufficient knowledge of those kinds of environments, those environments bring extra workload (technology use, student tracking (follow-up), environment problems, etc.) and there are no or little institutional support to those learning environments. Keywords: Blended Learning, Blended Learning Environment, Instructors?
