Abstract (EN)

In this study, the aim is to determine the productivity of agricultural lands in the Pursaklar district of Ankara province, where bread wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) is cultivated. This will be achieved through the analysis of 30 soil samples collected from the area. The coordinates of the points where the soil samples were collected using GPS were recorded. Each sample was taken from a depth of 0-30 cm. To evaluate the soil in terms of plant nutrition, various soil properties were analyzed. According to the results of the soil sample analysis, the average pH values were found to be 6.93, with 97% of them being neutral and 3% slightly acidic. The average salt content of the soils was determined to be 0.11%, with 93% of them being salt-free. Lime content analysis revealed that 47% of the samples had low calcareous content, 33% had moderate calcareous content, and 20% had high calcareous content. Of the analyzed samples, 12 were classified as "clay" (C), 7 as "clay-loam" (CL), 6 as "sandy-clay-loam" (SCL), and 5 as "sandy-clay" (SC). The average organic matter content was determined to be 1.58%, with 75% of the soils having medium organic matter content and 25% having very low organic matter content. The average nitrogen content was very low at 0.08%, with 80% of the samples having low nitrogen content. The average phosphorus content was 13.12 mg kg⁻¹, with 73% of the samples having sufficient phosphorus. The average potassium content was 311.00 mg kg⁻¹, and 83% of the samples had sufficient potassium content. Additionally, the average exchangeable calcium content was high at 4585.56 mg kg⁻¹, with more than 70% of the samples containing adequate calcium. The average exchangeable magnesium content was 284.93 mg kg⁻¹, and 87% of the samples had sufficient magnesium. In terms of microelements, the average iron content was 18.23 mg kg⁻¹, with all samples containing excessive iron. The average copper content was 2.26 mg kg⁻¹, and all samples had sufficient copper. Zinc content was found to be very low in all samples, while the average manganese content was 19.29 mg kg⁻¹, with 40% of the samples having sufficient manganese and 60% having inadequate manganese content.
