Abstract (EN)
Energy is one of the most essential needs for continuity of life. Unconscious and excessive use of energy gradually leads to the decline of energy sources in the world. Knowing the level of efficiency of the used energy and minimizing the efficiency reducing factors are as import ant as the conscious use of energy. In this study, refining section of a sunflower oi l plant is analyzed by using the second law of thermodynamics. The equipments of the refining section of the integrated plant are divided into control volumes and loss of exergy is calculated for each equipment. Results are illustrated with graphics and discussed. Key words: Exergy, Sunflower Oil, Thermodynamic , Exergy Analysis, Exergy Loss
