Abstract (EN)

This paper presents a fuzzy logic control mechanism connected with a super-lift Luo converter for maximum power point tracking (MPPT) in solar energy systems. This study presents a novel comparison of the infrequently examined boost and super-lift Luo DC-DC converters utilizing a unified control framework. A fuzzy logic controller utilizing identical solar panel properties has been developed for both systems. The findings indicate that the super-lift Luo augmented the output voltage by 344%, increasing from 245.8 V to 1091 V. The output current has lowered by 58.4%, from 32.78 A to 13.64 A. Nonetheless, the output power surged by 86.3%, escalating from 7981 W to 14870 W, while the efficiency enhanced by 4.16%. Consequently, the super-lift Luo converter attained an elevated voltage gain alongside enhanced efficiency. The data suggest that the Luo-based super-lift system is appropriate for high-power loads and industrial applications. A comparative analysis of the systems was conducted by operating both converters under identical load conditions. The engineered controller has ensured constant maximum power output without overrun in both converters. The analysis of the systems' responses to varying environmental circumstances has unequivocally illustrated the influence of the control methods and converter type on the performance of solar systems.
