Music culture of Turks emigrated from Ezerçe Village in Bulgaria

Cultures are defined as a whole of material and spiritual values and to tranfer these values into future generations. Music is an important part of the culture. Folk music and musical tools help to reveal the material and spirital products of the culture. This study is a compilation work done on the music culture of Ezerçe Village of Razgrad of Deliorman Region in Bulgaria. There has been no compilation work done in Ezerçe before, so this situation increased the importance of the study. This study is a descriptive research and descriptive survey model was used. This study consists of the data obtained by compling. Ezerçe's original works were researched in the compilation. Compiled works were collected from the people of that region and transferred into digital platform. Their musical notes were written. Musical characteristics like the tone, series of algorithms, alternator signs, rhythms, tempo were shown as tables. The whole study consists of three parts. Firstly, the concept of culture was explained and than cultural identity and cultural memory concepts were mentioned. The migration was covered in terms of within itself and also with culture. After the migration concept, the immigrations from 93 in hegira calender to 1989 in normal calender were mentioned. A total of 9 Turkish folk songs were compiled. The compiled 9 Turkish folk song's ryhtmic and mode similarities were revealed with the notations and musical analyses tables.
