Abstract (EN)
In this thesis, Burdur folk songs which are in Turkish Radio Television Turkish Folk Music repertoire have been analyzed and classified in terms of form, melody, function and music. During the study Burdur folk songs have been taken a part according to reference books and people. Information about history, geography, economy and tourism of Burdur folk songs are given in an alphabetical order, numbered in this order and these numbers are being used in classifications. The structure of these songs have been identified in terms of form so they have been classified according to their topics and the place where they are used. Burdurfolk songs have also been dtudied in terms of music to identify prosodies, styles and tunes used in them. In addition, information about local instruments is provided.
