The verses of rulings are of particular importance because of the following: the jurisprudential rulings related to them; the foundations and rules built on them; the meanings and connotations they contain; the methods and mechanisms for their interpretation; the understanding of their purpose; and the deduction of rulings from them. Some Muslim scholars have singled out the verses of rulings with special interpretations and individual works, in which they presented the meanings of the verses and their rulings, the opinions and views of "fiqh" schools, and the rules of consideration, inference and deduction. Accordingly, these interpretations have become distinct in their approach and general features from the usual and well-known interpretations in the Islamic heritage. The interpreters of the verses of rulings differ in their approach: some follow the approach of jurisprudence in arranging the rulings, some arrange them according to their sequence in the Holy Qur'an, and some single out some verses or rulings with one treatise or author. To this last section belongs the work before us, which dates back to the eleventh century AH, and to one of the scholars at the time, who is Ibrahim Al Mamouni, who singled out the verses of "wudu" and "tayammum" with a treatise he addressed to a judge of his time, following the disagreement of Al-Mamouni and some scholars of his time in the interpretation of some verses of the Holy Qur'an. Although the work is rich in information and knowledge, and contains issues, rules, principles and opinions, it has required redoubling efforts to clarify some of the principles and issues; to verify the accounts, attributing them to their authors and introducing them; and to edit the text to prevent confusion and explain and clarify whatever is ambiguous in its meaning and pronunciation, without interference or alteration; in other words, to edit the text as written by its author and provide it with everything needed to understand it and clarify its meanings. The researcher begins his work with a study in which he introduces Ibrahim Al Mamouni, presenting his birth and upbringing, his qualities and conditions, his teachers and students, his sciences and writings, and an approach to his interpretation, rulings, and sources, in addition to introducing jurisprudential interpretation and its issues. The work is then concluded with indexes that guide the reader to all the verses, hadiths, individuals, poems, etc. mentioned in the text. Keywords: (interpretation, verse, rulings, wudu, al-Mamouni)
