Digital archiving in office automation systems: An aplication example

The goal of this dissertation is to introduce digital archiving, to show changes and advancements in information and technology and to assess the advantages and disadvantages of digital archiving.When working on utilities and enterprises the main objective is to achieve rapid decision-making, facility of management, quick response to the demands, cutting down stationery expenses by reducing workstations, and decreasing the human faults. Accordingly, the necessity of technology utilization in office services is sensed as the most efficient and effective way. Structures in which combined systems managed and office works accumulated in one center has been a requirement.In this concept, office automation systems promise a platform using reliable and fast communication, eager to adapt with technological demands and easy to be used by end users that drive information pools.In conclusion, it is proposed that in order to achieve the aims of corporation, foundation and enterprises, effective utilization of office automation systems are noted as a key necessity.
