Evaluation of depression, anxiety levels and affecting factors in doctors working as research assistants in Bursa Uludağ University Medical Faculty Hospital

The aim of this study is; Evaluation of Depression, Anxiety Levels and Affecting Factors in Doctors Working as Research Assistants in Bursa Uludağ University Medical Faculty Hospital. 283 physicians working as research assistants in Bursa Uludağ University Medical Faculty Hospital participated in our study voluntarily. Participants were evaluated cross-sectionally once. Participants filled out the Beck Depression Scale (Beck-D), Beck Anxiety Scale (Beck-A) and Sociodemographic Data Form. In our study, those who think that they cannot participate in social activities sufficiently, those who want to specialize outside their branch, those who intend to leave their specialty training, those who examine more than 30 patients per day, who think that the physical conditions in the working environment are not sufficient, those who think that the number of shifts are above the acceptable level, those who see their future as bad, those who are not satisfied with their current workplace, those who think they do not receive enough support from their colleagues, those who think that they cannot work in harmony with their supervisors / faculty members / seniors in the working environment, those who think that the work done by their supervisors and colleagues are not appreciated, those who define the working conditions in the clinic as difficult, those who were threatened by the patient or their relatives and those using psychiatric drugs BD and BA scores were found to be higher. It is consistent with my hypothesis that the levels of depression and anxiety in research assistant physicians correlate with circumstances and conditions, many of which can be modified and regulated. It was thought that improving the conditions as much as possible would produce results that would benefit us spiritually.
