Abstract (EN)

"Bûstâni'l-Müslimîn", known to have been written by Muhammad ibn Kemâleddîn et-Tokâtî between 1466-1467 and copied in 1612; It is a religious resource that provides information in 87 chapters in the fields of fiqh, creed, sufism and morality for the devotees who want to learn about Islam. By Muhyî-i Tokâtî, who is estimated to have lived in the 15th century, it was decided to study this work, which was written under the name of Şehzade II. Bayezid, because it reveals the religious and moral understanding of the 15th century, the characteristics of Old Anatolian Turkish, the language structure of the period, and because there has been no academic study on it. The copy in the Library of the Presidency of Religious Affairs has been examined, since information about the copyright and copying date of the work, its author and copyist can be reached and it is older. In the first part of the study, firstly, information about the life and works of Muhammed ibn Kemâleddîn et-Tokâtî, the author of Bûstâni'l-Muslimîn is given. Afterwards, a general examination was made about the spelling and syntax features of the text. In the spelling section, it is stated how the vowels are written in the beginning, middle and end of the Turkish words and suffixes in the work. In the syntax section, sentence types in terms of meaning and structure are shown with examples selected from the work. In the second part of the study, Bûstâni'l-Muslimîn is presented in transcription alphabet in order to reveal the text. Later, the Arabic prayers, hadiths and words in the work were written in Turkish. In the third part, a dictionary-index was created in order to reveal the vocabulary of the 15th century. In this section, Persian and Arabic noun and adjective phrases are also given as an item. After the series, the thesis was completed by adding the names of the people, the conclusion, the bibliography and the appendices.
