Özet (EN)
For sector of made in clothes, design is system of thinking and production that builds up the basics of clothing education. In other words, design is notion that satisfies human feelings, needs by physcologically. Physcologically and that develops the field like technology and production It is essential to use many sources while designing. The most important sources are row materials, machines, construction, labor and money. Clothing design is percieved as reorganizing the issues that accepted as obstacles for consumers clothing needs or sagestion and production of new products according to consumer needs. The obstacles mentioned above consists of orrelatians between the production and its harmony with the body. The clothings that are fits to the body and comforts the movements of the body, one called as ergonomic clothings. Human begins have typical dimensional, structural and physological attirubutes. Moreover a design fits to human nature means the design is used comfortably. Made in clothes companies target determined consumers for design. The target consumer's anatomy and dimensions are used for the basics of design. In this stage of process, the science of antrophometry is used. Antrophometry is application and application of techniques of physical measurement in order to determine and develop design standarts. (http:// www.ytukvk.org.tr Human bodies shows similarities however the details of the bodies differents the most. The physical properties are mostly longitude, weight and circumference. The sizes of clothes called normal if the dimensions of the body and their notions normal. The sizes thet higher than normal or the notions of the dimensions are outrange, are called big. In this particular size, there are spcial methods, pattern production designs to eliminate the errors in harmony of the clothing with the body. Big size pattern design requires proffession. The big sized bodies generallay consistof deformations and alternatives in anatomy. It is more complex to design a pattern for big süzes than normal sizes. As a result, there are too many techniques to accommadiate the harmony between the product and the body. The techniques are ; transport of dart, widen and lessen to dart allowence of breast. The aim of these paper is to investigate "the factors that effect the design of big sized clothings" During the investigation of the factorsthe following sub-problems are taken into consideration: 1- How the big sized clothing design is considered among organization authors 2- What is the relative between organizations' perception of big size design and clothing habits at big sized consumers. 3- As consumers prefer productacording to producers background for big sized clothing design. 4- The factors than effect the design stage also effect the concumer choices 5- what are the problems that are ? during the design phase. In order to determing the relations between demographics of consumers and their choices ki-kare technique is used. In addition, anova statics technique is used for effects of consumers ' demographics on choices of consumers. The parper is a description one. For determing the ideas of organizations and consumers, two different (distinct) inquiry. The main results of the inquiries are given below; 1 - The nest of consumers are with in the age range of 4 1 -50 and 5 1 -60 2- As the education level of the consumers increase there is a decrease in the number of consumers that are big sized 3- 53,1 % of the big sized consumers have problems with obtaining the suitable clothing 4- The common factors that effect both the designing phase and consumer choices are: - Quality of product, - Aesthetics, - Ergonomy and - Functionality. According the data acquired by the inquiries the below can be suggested : 1- Special pattern design methods have to be developed according to Turkish big sized consumers' anatomy, body, dimensions and weight. 2- For big sized consumers, ergonomic, esthetic, high quality and economic clothing shoülb be produced as well as the hiding overweight one 3- The designers related to the area should be well educated in accordance with ergonomy, anatomy, antrophometry science.
