Abstract (EN)
All the materials that are structurally contained, especially fuel, will suffice to return an airplane to the flame ball within seconds in the event of an accident. The efforts of the passengers and crews who are stranded inside the flame ball, the rescue of those who cannot escape with their own means, the keeping of all escape routes open and safe, and the extinguishing of the fire are among the main duties of the ARFF personnel. The purpose of this research; to determine the necessity of large-body aircraft fire fighting simulators for the training of ARFF personnel and to provide a project example for this purpose.For this purpose, firstly the education standards of the ARFF personnel were examined and two different questionnaire applications were conducted to the ARFF personnel who were trained in the large body aircraft fire extinguishing training simulator in our country. As a result of analysis of research data; a. Training of RFF personnel trained in BGUYSS; realistic, rescue and fire extinguishing services and professional development in terms of finding it is found to be useful and physically challenging. It is also found that there are wounded search and rescue works in BGUYSS where the most challenging subjects of the RFF personnel who received training are the studies. The other findings of the study are that the participants generally think that the simulator should be in different cities and that RFF personnel should receive this training every year. b. 40% of the ARFF personnel not trained in BGUYSS have revealed that they think that they cannot perform rescue and extinguishing activities in plane crashes and fire incidents with the theoretical information they have received so far. When asked why participants would like to study in BGUYSS, most of them showed that they thought it would be a realistic and compelling education, that they would have the opportunity to apply their theoretical knowledge and help them to cope with stress in the event of a rare airplane accident and fire. In accordance with the data obtained from the three, four and fifth sections of the study, it is determined that flaming fire extinguishing trainings are important in the trainings of ARFF personnel and BGUYSS provides a realistic environment in these trainings. a project that can be implemented.
