Abstract (EN)

This study; In the perspective of Byung Chul Han, it expresses a look at today's world in general. In particular, it shows the current state of violence in the perspective of Chul Han. The macrophysics and microphysics of violence were mentioned. We have discussed Han's intellectual sources on violence. We tried to reveal how violence has always existed in society by changing its form in the course of history and how violence is in society at this point. In this thesis, we tried to show the ties that the thinkers we used in our study established with violence from a sociological perspective. After giving the views of the philosophers we used in our thesis about how they view the manifestations of violence, we tried to fill in any missing aspects. Generally, these philosophers dealt with the problems in the society in which they lived, and we criticised the fact that they did not say anything for the rest of the world, especially for Türkiye. The results of seeing the world in half leads to a damaged thought and damaged scientific data in the scientific view. The methods used consist of archival research, analyses of scientific data, and events experienced in society. The conclusions reached are the results of incomplete data related to our philosophers' incomplete view of the world as we criticised above. Han generally defines our time as a performance society. And he defines it as the violence of sameness. These definitions are appropriate. The violence of affirmation, in our opinion, is a new dominant type of violence added to the spiral of violence. We have tried to exemplify in our thesis that the violence of affirmation leads to new negative violence. Our study is especially addressed to this issue at a time when social violence is at its peak today. Considering the depressions and depressive states of people in our world where social violence is increasing day by day, it has become compulsory to conduct a sociological study on this subject. At the same time, the scarcity of studies on the reflection of violence in the perspective of Han in the literature has made it a goal to conduct this study.
