Abstract (EN)
In this study, the fatique behavior and effects of the cold deformation on the fatique live of Ç1010 structural steels were investigated. Initially, the annealed steel bars with 0 7 mm diameter were cold drawen to the diameter of 0 6 mm. Thus, the amount of cold deformation applied to the material was 15 %. The deformation incereased the tensile strength and the hardness but it decreased the toughness and elongation. Microstructure of annealed material consist of equiaxed grain structure where in the deformed materials, the grains elongated to the rolling direction. As a result of cold drawing leading to 15 % deformation, approximetaly 22 % increase in fatique live was observed. Science Code : 626.19.00 Key Words : Cold drawing, Wire And Rod Drawing, Fatique.
